

The biggest thing is that they refer to me using they/them pronouns. It makes me feel like I’m being corrected and bad that I might’ve misgendered somebody (only to find out that I didn’t). Sometimes, though, when I’m talking about somebody like: “Oh she/he told me….” in response, they will make an effort to refer to them using they/them pronouns, even if this person does not go by they/them. I guess that this is technically fine because they/them is gender-neutral. They have started to use they/them pronouns for everybody. My partner is non-binary and goes by they/them pronouns & I am a cis woman.
